Clementine Desseaux, French plus-size model, has posted a 15-seconds video on her Instagram featuring her being natural, smiling and flirting with the camera while wearing Louboutin’s $90 lipstick, Rouge Velvet Matte.
being charmed, Christian Louboutin has reposted the video on his Instagram page.
As a consequence, the whole Internet has mistaken that repost for being their newest groundbreaking campaign.

Clementine is the cutest freckled-faced model. If you want to know more about her, I would suggest you check out her blog, Bonjour Clem.
What matters the most here isn't that it's actually not an official Louboutin's campaign, but the massive international excitement and fervor it created to see a fuller figured model featured by a luxury fashion brand.
With the exception of CoverGirl’s advertisements featuring Queen Latifah and MAC's collab with Beth Ditto, to my knowledge no other well-known beauty brand has ever tapped a plus-size woman to be the face of a campaign, let alone a high-end label like Louboutin.
But the support is there ! Knowing that as a fact now, we can only hope that fashion brands will take the chance to reach out to the everyday woman.
Could being curvy be becoming a strentgh in the Fashion world, what people want to see, maybe even THE new trend ?
Could Fashion be on its way to get rid of its elitism and be reaching out to normal women?
Well, let's not get carried away. It is after all only a little water poured in the almost desert plus-size representation in mainstream Fashion.
What do you think about it ?
